Welcome to The List Kids!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

booksLearn About the Crisis and Educate Others

One of the most important things we can do is learn about the plight of U.S.-affiliated Iraqis and share that knowledge with our friends and neighbors. Consider writing a letter to your local newspaper or your Representative in Congress. Let them know we need to do something to save our friends.

Send Cards & Letters writeletter

Download and decorate our "Welcome" in Arabic (pronounced Ahlan Wa Sahlan) card or make your own. Either way, you can brighten a List Kid's day. You could also write them a letter. We will send your cards and letters in our List Kid care packages.

Collect and Donate Gifts Cardsgiftcard

What we wear shouldn't matter, but we all know that it is easier to try to fit in when you have clothing similar to what others are wearing. Nowadays it is easier than ever to get gift cards to major retail stores such as Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Gap, etc. Consider holding a bake sale, car wash, read-a-thon, or other fundraising event to raise funds to purchase gift cards.

gameDonate Used Gaming Systems & Games

Many of us are fortunate enough to get the newest gaming systems, which means our old systems are just taking collecting dust. By donating your old Gameboys, Playstations, X-Boxes, etc., you will be giving the List Kids something to talk about with their classmates and the chance to experience American culture kid-style!

The List Kids Reminder Bracelets

For anyone who donates $5 or more, we'll send you a List Kids "Think Big" reminder bracelet. The bracelet will be a daily reminder of the plight of U.S.-affiliated Iraqis and their children. It also will act as a starting point for you to educate people around you.

The List Kids Have a Wish List!  bullseye

After talking to the List Kids, we have created a wish list of items that you can purchase online at Target. We will be updating the wish list as more List Kids make it to the U.S. You can find our wish list by searching for The List Kids under "Organization." Keep checking back as we update it!

listhandsStart a List Kids Group

Make an even bigger impact by organizing your class, youth group, sports team, scout troop or other group to join in. Let us know if your group would like to adopt a List Kids family by committing to send monthly cards, letters, and other items.
