Veterans' Area

The List Project has partnered with Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) to promote the cause of resettling the interpreters and other Iraqi workers who made it possible to survive in Iraq. No one understands better how vital these Iraqis have been to the United States than veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. No one knows better the importance of helping those who helped us. And so you, the veterans, are in a unique position to assist on this issue. The List Project website, in partnership with IAVA, has set up a number of measures both large and small that you can take. You can:
- Tell us about an interpreter or ally you know who may need help.
- Sign a petition.
- Tell us a story about yourself with your interpreter.
- Read what other veterans have written about themselves with their interpreters.
- Help an interpreter near you.
- Write an elected official and/or hometown newspaper about this issue.
- Network with other veterans about this issue for other ideas.
