Welcome to The
List Kids
The List Kids was founded by 11 year old Sky Choi to support the children of U.S.-affiliated Iraqis. Most of these Iraqi children have known nothing other than war and must now face the challenge of integrating into an unfamiliar society. Together with two of his cousins, Sky is assembling care packages to welcome them. The List Kids provides American youth the opportunity to initiate a new positive dynamic between Americans and Iraqis – one based on cooperation and support instead of war.

The List Kids is dedicated to the kids of the brave Iraqi men and women who assisted the U.S. military in Iraq. What many people don’t know is that during the Iraq war, many Iraqis helped the U.S. military. They worked as translators, clerks, constructions workers, etc. Because they helped the U.S. soldiers, they are now in great danger. Many have been kidnapped, beaten and killed. Usually the whole family is in danger if any member helped the U.S. military, including their kids.
The purpose of The List Kids project is to reach out to the Iraqi kids whose parents are on The List. If they are lucky enough to make it to America, I want to be able to let them know they are welcome and safe here. They will be coming to a land and culture so very different from their own. Many don't speak English. PLEASE help us make a difference in a List Kid’s life, click on the how to help page for several ways to help.
Peace,
Sky
